Maidstone Borough Council planning committee object to Gallagher quarry plans

We've been reliably informed that Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) planning committee voted unanimously to object to the proposal by Gallagher Aggregates to extend Hermitage Quarry into Oaken Wood at the MBC planning meeting.

Thanks to all those at the Save Oaken Wood Action Group who went to the meeting.
